Training Standards
Training standards will be laid out in the objective statement for each phase of training. The objective statement will clearly state what the students capability and knowledge will be at the end of each phase of training. Although the course is laid out in hours, n Heavy Equipment Training Academy focus will be to "Train to the standard and not time." Simply stated, if a student meets the objective and they can perform the standard, but circumstances prevent them from completing the hours in a block, they will be allowed to progress to training. Performing to the standard also includes the minimum requirements in our Grading System and Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Training Deviations
Heavy Equipment Training Academy reserves the right to deviate from the established training schedule/course chart in the event of inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstance. If weather/equipment malfunctions prevents laboratory operations, training will be conducted in the classroom until laboratory operations can continue.
